SBCI is establishing cooperation with organisations
and networks that are conducting research, so as to provide the
SBCI membership with access to cutting edge developments in the
area. In this section you will find a list of organisations cooperating
with SBCI.

A Marrakech Task
Force for Sustainable Consumption and Production
Government of Finland contributes to the Marrakech process for Sustainable
Consumption and Production (SCP) by initiating a Task Force
for Sustainable Building and Construction (SBC) aiming at on awareness-raising
of sustainable building and construction through energy efficiency.
The SBC Task Force looks for common priorities and opportunities
for practical co-operation in setting policies and encouraging more
innovation in the energy efficiency of the built environment, initiate
and implement practical co-operative projects with Task Force members
and other international bodies, companies and research institutes,
particularly to develop policies to advance energy efficiency and
the use of renewable energy in the built environment. The SBC Task
Force also encourages national policy measures to promote innovation
and fair competition to improve the environmental performance of
the built environment, strive to set and participate in open and
transparent processes for improving the sustainability of the built
environment, monitor and report progress, feeding in results into
the UN CSD and Marrakech processes .

UNEP FI Property
Investment Working Group aims to encourage property investment
and management practices that achieve the best possible environmental,
social and financial goals, as consistent with fiduciary responsibilities.
The project focuses on Governance and Outreach, Awareness-raising
and Responsible Property Investment (RPI) through the actions
to be given to find the ways to reduce the environmental impacts
of the existing built stock.
