 In all the places Hydro operates, we work to reduce detrimental effects on the environment, ensure respect for human rights, take responsibility as an employer, fight corruption, and enter into an open dialogue with society at large. We don't consider this simply a moral responsibility, but a necessary and natural part of our business operations. 

Working Groups

SBCI Think Tanks

SBCI operates Think Tanks on Climate Change, Benchmarking and Policy which provide a strategic outlook and advise on needs and recommended actions for SBCI in the focus areas. The Think Tanks are composed of experts drawn from SBCI members and invited experts. The members of the Think Tank therefore change when a new topic is addressed.

SBCI Working Groups

Working Groups are established with the purpose to develop tools and strategies responding to the recommendations from the Think Tanks. The working groups may include professionals drawn from SBCI members, in-house resources by UNEP/SBCI secretariat and by other experts engaged on a consultancy basis to the Initiative. The output from the Working Groups will be presented at the SBCI workshops.

UNEP SBCI Madrid Round Tables on Sustainable Buildings & Construction
