Think Tank Round-Tables & Board Meetings in Kuala Lumpur
« back to archives
SBCI Roundtables on Policy, Climate Change and Benchmarking were held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia from the 1st – 3rd November. About fifty delegates representing public, private and non-governmental building industry stakeholders met to discuss the outcomes of reviews of the CDM, Policy tools, and to kick off the work of the new Think Tank on Benchmarking.
UNEP SBCI would like to thank our hosts for the event – the organisers of SB07 A. Prof. Faridah Shafii of the Technical University of Malaysia, and Mr. Poul Kristensen for providing a wonderful meeting venue and excellent cultural and technical program for our delegates. We also must thank our delegates for their commitment to the work of SBCI, and especially to some of our new members who came to contribute and find out what SBCI is all about. The following Chair’s summaries for each of the roundtables provided a concise overview of the work ahead for our think tanks and working groups.
